Between Tides: Coastal Loading Screens & Main Menu Overrides 🐬

I’m starting January’s coastal theme with a set of coastal-inspired loading screens and matching main menu overrides.

This collection includes 8 images total, and each image comes as its own file, containing both a loading screen and a main menu override. 

⚠️ Please make sure to read the requirements carefully before downloading.
All requirements are listed below, and they are important for these overrides to work correctly in-game.

These visuals are designed to feel calm, airy, and grounded, perfect for setting the tone before you even load into a lot. This is the first release in my January coastal theme, with more build/buy and art content coming throughout the month.

📦 REQUIRED FILES (Important!)

These overrides were made using Simmattically’s Background Pack Generator Tool, which allows you to safely use multiple backgrounds at once and customize your setup.

You’ll need both of the following:

1️⃣ Simmattically_RefreshedMainMenu3.zip
→ Open it and keep only the file labeled “base”

2️⃣ Simmattically_NewRefreshedLoadingScreen.zip
→ Open it and delete the file labeled “default background”

📂 Installation Tip (Highly Recommended)

• Create one folder
• Drop both required Simmattically files and my background files into that folder
• Make sure nothing is more than one folder deep...This keeps everything clean, organized, and working properly 💙

Using Simmattically’s tool means:

• You can have all Refreshed Main Menu 3–compatible backgrounds in your game at once
• You can use other creators’ Refreshed Main Menu 3–compatible backgrounds
• You can customize how your menu looks
• And best of all… none of my menu overrides have broken so far, even with surprise updates (yes, including that SpongeBob screen 🧽🐬)
