✨ What Does This Mod Do?

This mod reorganizes many of the in‑game aspirations into more accurate, intuitive categories using the Custom Aspiration Categories utility mod. It cleans up the aspiration panel, groups related aspirations together, unlocks hidden aspirations and makes everything easier to navigate — especially for players who use multiple custom aspiration mods.

This overhaul is also perfect to use alongside my own custom aspirations (and other creators’ mods that use the Custom Aspiration Categories), since it expands and improves the categories they rely on. 🙌

✨ Rearranged, Grouped & Improved Aspirations

I’ve reorganized EA’s aspirations into more fitting categories. Some have been moved into existing in‑game categories, others into the added ones, and a few have been grouped together into their own dedicated category (like Vampire).

💖 Good to Know

• Any already‑started in-game aspiration will continue working as normally!
• Custom Aspirations mods using the Custom Aspiration Categories utility mod are compatible with this overhaul.
• Custom Aspirations mods which are not using the Custom Aspiration Categories utility mod are also compatible with this mod, as long as they are not overrides of any of EA's in-game aspirations.

✈️ Adventure Aspirations

These in‑game aspirations now appear under the new Adventure category:

🐴 Animal Aspirations

These animal‑focused aspirations now use the Animal category:

🧶 Crafting Aspirations

Moved to Crafting:

🪄 Vampire & Spellcaster Aspirations — Now Grouped into Two Unique Occult Categories

All Vampire and Spellcaster aspirations are now grouped under their own dedicated categories. Previously, these aspirations were scattered across Family, Knowledge, and Popularity, which made them harder to find.

🦋 All Hidden Aspirations Unlocked!

Previously hidden aspirations from Fairy, Star Wars, and Werewolf categories are now fully visible and selectable without needing to complete the first step in each category. I’ve added a few small fixes to make this possible, and I’ve thoroughly tested everything both before and after installing this mod — it works great.

⚠️ Pack specifics

Only install the override files for the packs you own. Installing files for packs you don’t have will cause an UI error in the aspiration panel.

💚 With other mods

This mod is not compatible with any other mods that override the in‑game aspirations.

Installation Guide Step-by-Step:

• First go and download the requried mod: Custom Aspiration Categories
• Download the file, unzip it and follow these steps carefully:

➡️ 1. Carefully Install this mod

After unzipping this mod, it's important you remove ALL the files for packs you don’t own — then place the remaining folder inside your mods folder.

Why do you need to to this? This is because aspiration override files will always break the Aspiration UI if you install any file for a pack you do not own.

I've marked all files with their pack number and name so they are easy to go through.

✅ 2. Check That the Mod Is Installed Correctly

To confirm that Aspirations Overhaul is installed properly, start your game and open the Aspiration panel in Live Mode (the mode where you can switch between aspirations). If everything is correct, you’ll be able to click through the different aspiration categories and panels without any UI errors.

If you see a broken UI or the aspiration panel isn't responding, it means a file for a pack you don’t own is still installed. Close the game, remove the incorrect file(s), clear your cache, and the aspiration UI should work normally again. 💖
