🛍️ What does this mod do?

This mod expands and tweaks the Get To Work Buy and Restock interactions and its available routing area around Retail Objects, so buying and restocking items works no matter where you place them — even in more creative, cluttered builds with the moveobjects cheat on. 🙌

This little tweak really makes building functional retail spaces—especially grocery stores—so much more fun, intuitive, and realistic to play with! 💖

✨ Examples of where this mod helps

• Grocery stores with cluttered, stacked objects (e.g., cans, jars, boxes)
• Shops with lots of objects and shelving with too few slots
• Any creative builds where items are placed on non‑standard surfaces
• Any retail lot where Sims previously refused to buy or restock items because they were “too far away” or “can't reach object”.

ℹ️ Small Restock Sign as New Default

I’ve also set the small restock sign within this mod as the default restock sign instead of the large ones (which previously was default for every item placed with moveobjects - which would look kind of off for smaller object). This keeps everything looking the most clean and consistent when placing objects more freely or stacking them.

ℹ️ GTW Retail‑Only Support

This mod currently only works for Retail (Get To Work EP), not for Small Businesses, since their systems are completely different. I'm looking at making a similar mod for the Small Business system! 🙌

🔧 Compatibility with other mods

This mod changes how the buy, restock and clear‑sign actions work, and it also updates some of the default restock signs in Retail. Because of that, it may not be compatible with other mods that change the core Retail features. This mod works great with custom objects inside your store!

This mod works in ALL in-game languages!

Unzip and add the package file to your Mods folder or any subfolder within it—just make sure it's not nested more than 5 folders deep.
