No Royalty & Legacy Burglar Fix

Do you NOT have the Royalty & Legacy EP and coincidentally notice a complete  absence of burglars in your game? Then this mod is for YOU!

What Happened

The game checks that the ordinary burglar isn't being sent to Royalty & Legacy's  world, where a different burglar operates. If you don't own that pack, the check  fails instead of passing, and the burglar is never scheduled. No passing check, no  burglar, ever. This mod corrects the failing check so burglars work the way they're  supposed to for players who DON'T own the Royalty & Legacy EP.

If you own Royalty & Legacy this mod does nothing for you. It's harmless to keep  installed, however.

A Few Things Worth Knowing

The below are both unmodified EA behaviors. This mod does not change them. It  only restores whether the burglar situation gets considered for scheduling at all.

• Burglars are rare by design. The game considers sending one on Wednesdays at 3am,    then rolls a small (10%) chance, so don't expect one immediately once the mod is installed. For more info on this, check out Waffle's post on the topic.
• If the scheduling chance succeeds, it can take up to 5 Sim days for the burglar to appear.
• No burglar will spawn if your household was burgled recently, if burglars are    disabled in game options, or your Sim is on a lot they don't own during the overnight hours.

Requirements

• The Sims 4 (Royalty & Legacy NOT required)

Installation

1. Download and unzip deadlystingnyc_no_rl_burglar_fix_v1.0.zip
2. Drop the unzipped folder into your Mods folder:    Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods/
3. In-game, go to Game Options → Other and make sure Script Mods are enabled

Compatibility

No tuning overrides. May conflict with other mods that change how the game tests a Sim's home world.
