No Auto Invite
by deadlystingnyc
You engage in some chit chat with your neighbor on the sidewalk and somehow they end up in your house for the next four hours, raiding your fridge and hogging your TV. Nobody invited them in. YOU definitely didn't invite them in. No Auto Invite makes sure that never happens again.
Why You Need This
In vanilla Sims 4, any social interaction with an NPC while you are on your home lot automatically grants that NPC visit access to your residence. Say hi at the front door and they will walk inside and make themselves at home as if you had formally invited them over. It is one of those behaviors that feels completely wrong the moment you notice it.
This mod patches the auto-invite mechanism so casual social interactions at your home lot no longer grant visit access. NPCs stay outside where they belong.
How It Works
The auto-invite mechanism that grants visit access from casual social interactions is patched out entirely. NPCs you interact with on your lot will no longer walk inside uninvited.
Phone invites and social events continue to work normally, so you still have full control over who comes in when you actually want company.
