Sellsword Career

A whole life dedicated to selling one's militant skills to any entitiy with enough coin, being a mercernary has little real glamour. And there's little way towards getting resepcet, but that was never the goal, now was it?

Base Level

• "Low-Paid Killer": You're just starting out your new, murderous role, but for a price...hopefully there aren't any other prices in the term...

Branches

• "Independent": A roaming, working killer for hire.

  • Base Level -- "Lone Walker": You are a roaming, working killer for hire as you've either been kicked out or never joined any sort of mercenary company...perhaps you could say you're more of an assassin? Too bad you don't really get paid as consistently as you might have, but you also could have very large sums all to yourself for the bigger jobs.

• “The Silver Company”: If there was any company of sellswords who could claim prestige...

  • LV1 -- "Underling": Lowest of the hierarchy within your company, you mainly act as a sort of messenger-squire combo as well as other duties that can be labor extensive, unless you work under a specifc sin with certain authority.

  • LV2 -- "Trusted Killer": You've raked in enough kills and funds to make some sort of name within the comany and in the local region.

  • LV3 -- "Second-In-Command": Just like a quartermaster of s ship, your authority comes right after the current captain's. You in are charge of the otherswhen the ship was not in action. You can punish the others for insubordination and arbitrated minor disputes among the others.

  • LV4 -- "Captain": You are the leader of your group; all exectuive and judicial duties come down to your final word. And unless you got adifferent system going, you have first cut!

• “The Errant Fingers”: Founded by orphaned pickpocket children, this company specializes in theivery & heists as well as your typical murder missions.

  • LV1, LV2, LV 3, L4 -- SAME as ABOVE

• "The Moora Bandits": The name is a misnomer; never has any Bandits actually committed any theft. In fact, this company prides itself in not having to steal to feed themselves through any sort of larceny as one of the most sought-after and discreet companies to date. The origins of the name is lost, however, as this company dates back hundreds of years and no one knows how or why it achieved its longevity...

  • LV1, LV2, LV 3, L4 -- SAME as ABOVE
